Prevention Project Treatment Manager: Safer Living Foundation - Nottinghamshire
We are looking for an experienced registered psychologist to lead on an innovative and exciting new community based treatment intervention to prevent first time sexual offending. As the first of its kind in the UK, you will be at the cutting edge of intervention development. Joining an existing team you will take a key role in the design of an intervention for adults who self-identify as having an offence related interest or have concerns that they my commit a sexual offence. You will lead on the set up and roll out of the programme. You will already have a good grasp of the evidence base for sexual offending interventions as well as experience in delivering these. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in leading the way in prevention interventions and is excellent career development, offering both clinical and research opportunities.
You will be based in Nottinghamshire between HMP Whatton and Nottingham Trent University, with provision made for working from home as and when necessary. The post will be for 18.75 hours per week and will initially be for one year with the expectation that this will then be extended (we currently have three years funding for this post). Renewal thereafter will depend upon additional funding being received. We are happy to consider secondments.
